Ditte Andersson, Uppsala, Schweden, ist professionelle Musikerin auf Nyckelharpa und Geige mit tiefer Kenntnis der Folkmusik ihrer Heimatprovinz Uppland, der Heimat der Nyckelharpa, wie wir sie heute kennen. Ditte erforscht aber auch Musik aus anderen Teilen Schwedens und aus anderen Genres. Sie ist auch Sängerin, komponiert eigene Musik und schreibt Texte. Als Lehrerin wurde sie am Royal Collage of Music in Stockholm ausgebildet (Master of Education). Seit vielen Jahren ist sie eine von drei Hauptdozenten am Eric Sahlström Institut in Tobo, Schweden, und sie lehrt Unterichtsmethodik am Royal Collage of Music in Stockholm.

Ditte Andersson, Uppsala, Sweden, is a professional musician (nyckelharpa and fiddle) with a deep knowledge of folk music of her home province Uppland, the home of the nyckelharpa as we know it today. Ditte explores folk music from the rest of Sweden as well as other types of music. She is also a singer and a creator of music and lyrics. As a teacher, she is educated at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm (Master of Education). Since many years, she is one of the three head teachers at the Eric Sahlström-institute in Tobo, Sweden and she teaches teaching methods for nyckelharpa at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
